The Shipwreck Trail - Cape Point
From the Olifantsbos parking, head to the top near the boom gate, cross the road, and take the well-defined path that ascends to the ridge.
When you reach a fork, take the right-hand path and continue up to the cliff top. Follow the ridge until you come to another fork; take the right turn here and continue along the ridge, descending all the way back to the coastline.
For an optional extension, you can walk along the beach southwards before returning to the SS Thomas T. Tucker shipwreck, a great spot for a swim. The return route to Olifantsbos is mostly along the beach at first but later offers the choice of either a coastal or inland path.
