Olifantsbos from Smitswinkel Viewpoint - Cape Point

This point-to-point hike begins at the Smitswinkel Bay viewpoint, located on the left at the first bend past the Cape Point entrance. The trail starts with an easy uphill section before descending through the fynbos to cross Olifantsbos Road. You will then hike past the Sirkelsvlei Dam to finish at the Olifantsbos parking area.

Note: Cape Point payment is credit card only and ID is required.

Meeting Point: Leave cars at the Olifantsbos parking and return to the start of the hike at the Smitswinkel Bay viewpoint parking. From there, the path heads from the parking area back towards the main gate before crossing the road to head up the hill.
